A specialty coffee from Risaralda, Colombia, made from Caturra and Castillo varieties grown at 1,750–1,800 metres above sea level and produced by Qima. The beans are washed with yeast fermentation, a process used to bring out sweetness and fruit while keeping the cup clean.
In the cup you get a fresh, clear watermelon note, followed by bright orange and a touch of red cherry. It is a juicy, fruit-led coffee for anyone who likes their filter brews lively and sweet.
How to brew it
Brew it as filter coffee to show off the fruit: a Hario V60, Chemex or AeroPress all work well. It also makes a refreshing iced pour-over when brewed straight over ice.
Roasted by Cherry Beans in Qatar. Grind just before brewing to keep the aroma at its best.
